Georgia Scott DeVusser, 78, of Radford, surrounded by her family, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 2, 2009. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Georgia enjoyed being outdoors playing tennis and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon DeVusser. Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Sharon and David Vaughn of Christiansburg, and Karen Whitesell of Dublin; two grandsons, Zachary Vaughn and Dylan Whitesell; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. O. D. Morgan officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 2408 Electric Road, SW, Roanoke, VA 24018-3523. The DeVusser family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
