George Earl Turner, Jr., 77, of Pulaski, Va., died on Monday, June 28, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents George Turner Sr., and Reva Turner, his brother Houston Turner, and sisters Alice McClain and Dorothy Roberson. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Hunter Turner of Pulaski, Va., two children, Angela Turner of Charlotte, NC and Melissa Turner, and four grandchildren. He was also survived by his brothers Joe Turner (wife Barbara) of Christiansburg, Va., Donald Turner (wife Cathy) of Elliston, Va., sister Emma Stallings of Salem, Va., and stepchildren and their families. He also had a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, Possum Hollow Rd. (Old Rte. 100), Draper, Va., at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010. The Turner family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
