George Robert Puckett, 83, of Dublin, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 11, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, George William and Dorris Ayers Puckett; his wife, Dixie Dillon Puckett; 2 brothers; a sister; and his beloved grandsons, Brian and Michael. Survivors include his daughters, Becky Bugg and Sarah Linkous; son, Eugene Puckett; stepsons, Bobby Dillon and Stephen Dillon; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; the mother of his children, Nancy Blair; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and an abundance of friends. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Dublin Church of God in Dublin. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Adam Frye officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
