George Early Rex Page, 80, of Parrott, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012. He was retired from Radford Army Ammunition Plant after almost 44 years of service. After his retirement, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and most of all his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Peter and Ethel Purdy Page, granddaughter, Barbara Bryant, grandson, Michael Page, and three stepsons, Jimmy, Doug and Jackie Montgomery. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Ella Sifford Page; three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Kitty Page and George and Pat Page, all of Parrott, and Robert and Mel Page of Jonesboro, TN; three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Tolbert of Dublin, Annie and John Whittaker and Genny and Ray Wilburn, all of Parrott; half-brother, Marshall Page of Parrott; three sisters, Moleta Hungate of Blacksburg, Ruth Johnson of McCoy, and Allene Condo of Philadelphia, PA; three half-sisters, Shirley Long and Linda Duncan, both of Riner, and Liz Patterson of Florida; 20 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 11 am at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Eddie Dalton and Rev. Teresa Talbert officiating. Interment will follow in the Brown Cemetery in Pulaski County. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 pm until 7 pm at the funeral home.
