George Lee Morgan, 68, passed away Monday, March 9, 2009 at his home in Radford. He was a graduate of Virginia Tech and an inspector with the Virginia Dept. of Agriculture. Survivors include his wife, Doris Daugherty Morgan of Radford; a daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Kenneth Mackey of Oviedo, FL; a brother Frank Martin of Sebastian, FL. Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 15, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church in Radford with Pastor Tammy and Pastor Ric Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231-9986 or the Va Tech Alumni Association. The Morgan family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
