Gennie Felecia Hayden Gilmore was born, on October 29, 1955, to the late Ernest T. Hayden and Lola V. Hayden in Radford, Virginia. On Tuesday, April 24, 2018, she went home to be with the Lord. Felecia leaves to celebrate her life, her loving husband of 37 years, Thaddeus Gilmore, Sr.; two children, Thia Gilmore (Tammi) and Thaddeus Gilmore, Jr.(TJ); one "special" grandson, Hayden Haynes; four siblings, Earnest Hayden, Sr. (Georgia Ann), Harriett Clark, Helen Edwards, and Barry Hayden (Robin); in-laws, Barbara A. Atkins, Reuben Gilmore, Jr., and Basil A. Gilmore; step daughter, Chrystal Shorter (Lincoln); step grandchildren, Christion Shorter, Logann Shorter and Lincoln Shorter II; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Radford Church of God in Christ, 206 Russell Avenue, Radford, VA 24141. Celebration of Life Services will begin at 12 p.m. with Bishop Ronald A. Watson, Sr. officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Sunrise Burial Park in Fairlawn.
