Geneva Dobbins Young, 85, of Radford, passed away at Cozy Home Haven on Wednesday, December 20, 2006. She was a member of West Radford Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents Percy and Rhita Turner Dobbins, her husband, Elden L. Young, two sisters Frances D. McPeak and Juanita D. McPeake, a brother Linwood T. Dobbins and a daughter, Alice Young Trussler Collins. Survivors include two brothers, T. Donald Dobbins and Forrest Dobbins both of Radford; one sister, Esther Long of Cleveland, TN; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the West Radford Church of God with Rev. James Walker and Rev. Arthur Harris officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at West Radford Church of God. The Young family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
