Geneva Valdine Rummell, 76, of Radford, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ray and Elizabeth Furrow Reed; son-in-law, Troy Shane Godsey; sister, Sylvia "Frankie" Odham; brother, Dower "Aubrey" Furrow; and her longtime companion, Walter Smith. Survivors include her son, Tommy Rummell; daughter, Megan Godsey; grandchildren, Mikayla Jones, Brittany Francis (Brian), Kenneth "Bubba" Rummell, and Hannah Jones; brothers and sister-in-law, Clyde C, Reed, and James S. Reed (Daphne); and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Danny Newman officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin.
