Gene D Leslie Sr 61 of Dublin, Va received his healing on Sunday April 23, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Ronald (Sonny) Leslie and the late Charlotte Sage Leslie. Gene was raised in Otoole,WV by his beloved grandmother Julia Valach Sage and Clovis (Buddy) Hedrick. He was a 1981 graduate of Northfork High School. Gene was a disabled heavy equipment operator. He was a loving husband, proud father and grandfather. Gene was a member of Crozier Baptist Church and was ready to meet his Savior Jesus Christ! He will always be remembered for his infectious smile and laughter and forever missed by all those who knew and loved him. Gene was preceded in death by his brother , Mark Alan Leslie, his grandparents Teddy and Julia Sage, KD and Susan Leslie. Gene leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years, Tina Woolridge Leslie; one daughter, Julia Nicole Little and husband Mark; one son, Gene D Leslie, Jr and wife MaKayla; his cherished granddaughter, Alexa Jean Little; his father and mother in law, Bobby and Shelby Woolridge; sisters and brother in law, Helen and George Pack, and Sherry Woolridge; sister, Robin Leslie; faithful friends, Nancy Wooldridge, Trisha Huff Birchfield, and Charlie Haines. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
