Obituary

Gary Douglas Quesenberry, 68, of Radford, left his earthly body and went home to live with his eternal father on Friday, January 6, 2023, at the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. He was retired from New River Industries. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Friel and Ibra Quesenberry; niece, LaDona Stossel; grandson, Cody Semones; and brothers-in-law, Cadell, Pete and Nathan Blackburn. Survivors include his "Baby Doll" of 49 years, Robin B. Quesenberry; only son, Brandon Quesenberry; granddaughters, Britni Quesenberry, Kayla Boyd and Jesika Boyd; great grandchildren, Emily Hilton, Levi Wright, Lylah Dustin, Zac Surber, and Eve Semones; sister, LaVerne Q. Sizemore (Don); brothers-in-law, Gather Blackburn (Brenda) and Anthony Blackburn (Melody); sisters-in-law, Patricia Blackburn, Sandra Blackburn, and Bonnie Blackburn; and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 6 p.m. with Pastor Chris Blackburn and Rev. Don Sizemore officiating.
