Gary Lee Thomas, 71 of Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He retired from the City of Radford Police Department after 30 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Drema B. Thomas of Christiansburg; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary Lee II and Susan Thomas of Dublin; a daughter Kathy Michele Thomas of Christiansburg; a sister Sandra Atkinson of Mooresville, NC; and two grandchildren Andrea Elaine Thomas and Mary Leigh Thomas. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Charlie Pfaff officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. The Thomas family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
