Galen Lee King, 61, of Radford, died peacefully at his home Wednesday, December 17, 2008. He was born March 14, 1947, in Lexington Kentucky to the late Donald Lee and Iva Holman King. He was a beloved husband, father, a gifted craftsman and an honorable man who leaves the world a richer place for everyone whose life he touched. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served in the Mediterranean during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Ann Herriott Fisher of Radford; two sons, Morgan Galen King of Dublin, Ireland and Alexander Joseph King of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and mother-in-law, Margaret Van Dyck Fisher, Pattersonville, NY. The family would like to invite everyone to come and celebrate his life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday December 20, 2008 at Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Russell Gregory officiating. The King family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
