Gail Diane Howell, 63, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Pulaski Health and Rehab Center. She was born to Ralph and Gloeda Howell in Christiansburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Gloeda Howell; baby brother, Thomas Edward Howell; uncles, Robert Howell, Harold Howell and Jim Fisk; cousin, Timmy Howell and infant child; aunts, Eva Basham, Shirley Howell and Genell Fisk. Left to cherish her memories are sister, Katherine Huff and husband Allen and their son, Jamie; brother, Michael Howell and wife Amy and their daughters, Lauren and Sierra; uncles, Galen Howell and Ramond Howell; aunts, Millie Howell and Nadean Horton; many cousins and all her dear friends. Gail was a very strong person. She always did things her way. She was an avid reader, and she loved to crochet, do counted cross stitch and many other crafts. She loved all the many animals that came into her life. There will be no funeral. Gail will be cremated as per her wishes. We would like to thank Rose and Carol and her family for taking Gail into their homes to care for her. We also thank all the hospitals, doctors, nurses and anyone who helped her during this time. No one should go through what Gail has gone through. If you wish you may give a donation to the American Cancer Society in Gails memory. She will be missed. May she be without pain and be in peace. An angel whispered, "Take my hand and come with me. Your work here is done." I went away to a place where theres no tears or sorrow only laughter and smiles. There will always be a tomorrow As I move amongst the clouds, look down and smile upon you. While the angels sing a heavenly song. Im not alone all who went before me are here. They awaited my return. I know you will grieve and wish I was still here, but Im here in the memories you hold dear. Remember how much I loved you and know I took your love with me. I didnt want you to cry or feel sad. My pain is gone and Im free. Soon you will come to me and until then god will be with you, just as Hes with me.
