Fred Stanley Hamm, 63, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at his home in Radford. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Dublin and retired from Federal Mogul with 42 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Geraldine Carpenter Hamm, and a brother, Larry J. Hamm. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn M. Hamm; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Tim Weikel of Riner; grandson, Owen C. Weikel; and brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Loretta Hamm. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Belmont Cemetery in Christiansburg with Rev. Doug Testerman officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 2408 Electric Rd, Roanoke, VA 24018.
