Frankie Sue Simpkins, 57, of Hiwassee, passed away Thursday, July, 4, 2013 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Edgar Trentham and Nancy Jean Russell Stafford. Survivors include her husband, C.J. Simpkins; two brothers-in-law and spouse, Danny Simpkins and Russell and Terry Simpkins all of Hiwassee; aunt, Minnie Grigg of Falls Church; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Terrie Sternberg officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA 24018. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home. The Simpkins family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
