Frank McNeil Winkle, 68, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at his home in Dublin. He was retired from Lynchburg Foundry with 38 years of service and a member of Newbern Community Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Margaret Winkle. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Judith Ellen Blevins Winkle; sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin Winkle and friend Rebecca Snider of Dublin, Jeff and Michelle Winkle of Pulaski, and Ricky and Karen Winkle of Dublin; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Clayton Perry of Dublin; canine companion, Snoopy; brother, Thomas W. Winkle of Troy, MI; grandchildren, Chad Perry, Carlie Perry, Josh Winkle and friend Kelsey Rotruck, Noah and Bryce Winkle, Adam Winkle and his wife Amanda and Brooke Winkle and friend Gage Duncan; step grandchildren, Amber and River Hollar, Tiffanie Branch and husband Travis, Whitney Perry and Taylor McDaniel; great grandchildren, Bentley Winkle and Payton Winkle; and step great grandchildren, Brantley Hollar and Maggie and Chase Branch. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Newbern Community Christian Church with Rev. Jeff Curtis officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 Noon. The Winkle family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
