Mr. Gearheart is a veteran of the United States Army, attended Dublin United Methodist Church and was a member of the Beni Kedam Shrine Patrol. At the time of his passing, he was a resident of Fairlawn, VA. He was born and resided in Bluefield, WV for many years prior to retiring to live on Claytor Lake in Virginia.

Frank lived a long and eventful life shared with his wife Gwenn. Together they endeavored to raise children that would have all the opportunity life offered. As their children became adults, they lived life enjoying the beauty of the lake and all the events and locations they could. Football games, grandchildren’s events, trips with friends, cruises, and large and boisterous family gatherings were all part of their retirement enjoyment.

Above all, faith was the main component of Frank’s life, especially after the passing of his wife Gwenn. Frank faithfully spent an hour each day in study and prayer, typically remembering the family members he loved dearly and looking forward to being in the presence of Jesus with his wife.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. A celebration of Frank’s life will begin at 10:30 am. Graveside services will follow at 2 pm in Roselawn Cemetery in Princeton, WV.
