Frances Bugg Wright, 93, of Radford, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021. She was retired from Kroger Company with 32 years as a cashier. She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Laura Roop Bugg; her first husband, Jessie Wilbert Wright; brothers, Robert and Eugene Bugg; and sisters, Ruth DeHart and Lillian Thomas. Survivors include her husband, Jerry T. Weaver; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Edward Sams; grandchildren, Derek Sams, and Larry (Donna) Sams; 5 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Ophelia Roop; brother, Bill Bugg; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Gethsemane Baptist Church with Pastor Brent Strouf officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
