Frances Carroll Simpkins, 82 of Hiwassee, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008 at the New River Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Truman Simpkins. She was a member of the Cornersview Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include three sons and daughter-in-law, Russell T. and Terry Simpkins, Hiwassee, Danny L. Simpkins, Shawsville and C.J. and Sue Simpkins, Hiwassee; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cornersview Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Frankie Graham and Rev. James Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the Pentecostal Conference Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
