Frances Josephine Phillips McCraw 91, of Radford, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2010 to be with her heavenly father. She was a life long resident of Radford and member of Calvary Baptist Church in Radford for over 60 years where she taught Sunday school and teen groups. For many years she owned and operated her own beauty salon, taking care of her close friends. She was a foster parent for many international college students at the church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Truman McCraw of 64 years. Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law Bill and Pat King, Jack and Linda McCraw all of Claytor Lake; daughter and son-in-law Shirley and C.B. Morgan of Radford; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Mike and Leslie King, Steve and Regina King, Beth King, Derrick McCraw, Carson and Joy Morgan, Tammy Morgan, Randy and Barbara Morgan, and Dr. Matt and Tara Skewes, nine great grandchildren; Tyler and Lauren King Lydia and James King, Miranda McCraw, Jessop and Sable Skewes, and Jane and Julie Morgan; one great nephew Richard Phillips. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2010 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Radford with Pastors O.D. Morgan, Brian Cockram and Dewey Weaver officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 until 6 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. The McCraw family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
