Frances Kirtner McDaniel, 85, of Dublin, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013. She was born and educated in Radford and was a lifetime member of the Radford Worship Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas H. McDaniel, Her parents, Melvin P. and Edith Kirtner, and an infant son, Richard L. McDaniel. She is survived by a son, Darrell T. McDaniel of Dublin, a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa A. McDaniel and Richard F. Dishon of Dublin, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and a brother, Eugene Phillip Kirtner of Hampton. The family wishes to thank all the special people that provided excellent care and assistance to Mrs. McDaniel during her final days. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Radford Worship Center with Dr. Hal Adams officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time.
