Forest Granville Dobbins, 88, of Radford, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016. He was a member of the West Radford Church of God and retired from Burlington Mills with over 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, June Dobbins; parents, Percy and Rita Dobbins; and sisters, Geneva Young and Esther Long. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Susan Dobbins of Christiansburg, Freddy and Rebecca Dobbins of Fla., and Jerel and Tammy Dobbins of Radford; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Jenelle Dobbins of Radford; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the West Radford Church of God. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. Danny Newman and Rev. James Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
