Flossie Myrtle Strader, 95, of Fairlawn, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014. She was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Nellie Nunn Wright. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Everett Preston Strader, daughter, Charlotte Mae, and 4 brothers Bill, Jimmy, Vance and George. Survivors include her special daughter, Jane H. Strader, sons and daughters-in-law, David L. and Donna Strader of Newland, NC and Lowell "Pete" and Pili Strader of Woodbridge, VA; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Rusty Repass; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Ginny Tompkins and Rev.Randy Morris officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm.
