Florence Sexton Bedsaul passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 at her home in Dublin. She was a member of the Dublin Church of God for 47 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bertha Hammond; first husband, Rev. L. E. Sexton; brothers, Lucky and Charlie Hammond; and sister, Virginia Baxter. Survivors include her husband, Bennie Leff Bedsaul of Dublin; children and their spouses, Lisa and Freddie Powers of Norton, Michele and David Pleasant of Cape Coral, Fla., Regina and Geoffrey Ngugi of Roanoke, Tiffany and Justin Gilbert of Dublin, and Eric and Michelle Sexton of Cape Coral, Fla.; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Whittle of Lake Wales, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Dublin Church of God. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. with Rev. Michael Collins, Pastor Freddie Powers and Pastor David Pleasant officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
