Faye M. Harp, 98, of Fairlawn, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015. She was born January 21, 1917 in Ashville, Alabama. Faye was a faithful member of Fairlawn Baptist Church for 57 years. She retired from Leggett and was always known for her classic elegance and grace. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.B. "Dub" Harp; parents, Nicholas and Stella Moorer; sisters, Evelyn, Vazelle, Carolyn, Sarah and Florence; and brothers, G.T., Nicholas, Jack and Ross. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Benny and Susan Harp of Fairlawn; grandchildren Emily Harp Manoso and husband, Rob, of Charlotte, N.C. and Molly Harp of Washington, D.C. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June, 16, 2015 at the Fairlawn Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Baucom officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 17 at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
