On Wednesday, January 1, 2020, Everett D. Harrell, our loving daddy, of Debbi and Gary and his wife, Patty and her daughter, Hailey; papaw to Nicole, Nathan and Zac; brother and favorite Uncle, went to heaven to be with his wife, Treva, his son Ricky, his mother, father, sisters and brothers. He will be forever missed by all those who loved him. We will all miss his fishing and hunting stories, buying his sweet corn or his love of bees and honey. Those beautiful blue eyes twinkling behind his glasses as he joked and his wonderful laughter when he beat you at card games. Our family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Salem VA Hospital for the wonderful care they gave to Daddy. We would like to thank Richard Shepard and his wife and his wonderful neighbors for all they did for our dad. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
