Evelyn Estelle Wells Nicewander, 81, of Radford, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Bessie Wells; and her husband, William Arthur Nicewander. Survivors include her son, Butch Nicewander and Vicki Williams of Riner; granddaughters and their spouses, Tara and Brad Duncan, and Brooke and Jesse Dean; great grandsons, Braden and Blayze Duncan; daughter-in-law, Brenda Nicewander and Tim Brown; sisters-in-law, Bonnie and Roger Mitchell, and Betty Ogle; and many loving family members and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to the New River Valley Medical Center E.R. staff, the Roanoke Memorial CCU and PCU Unit on the 8th floor, and the Radford Drug. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
