Evelyn P. Hedge, of Radford, formerly of New River, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 surrounded by her son and daughter-in-law, Herman E. "Toby" and Ellen Hedge. Born December 7th, 1926, she had lived a long life and helped many people in her 90 years. She retired from St. Albans Hospital with 20+ years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Nolen H. Hedge. She is survived by Herman "Toby" and Ellen Hedge; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Billy Hearn; grandchildren, Jeanette Draper and Shane McDaniel; great grandchildren, Eden Allen and Dale Allen; along with many nieces and nephews. Per her wishes there will be no visitation and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
