Evelyn Saunders Claytor, 79, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at her home in Radford. She was a member of First Baptist Church on Rock Road. She was a retired guard at Hercules and was currently a greeter at Walmart. Survivors include four sons, Dwight Anthony Saunders of San Diego, CA, Richard Cameron Saunders of Apple Valley, MN, Steven Vicent BNet Saunders of Tampa, FL, and Captain Mario Dumon Claytor of Fort Lee, VA; two sisters, Helen Crawford of Springfield, VA and Virginia Crawley of Columbus, OH; brother, Will Small of Lexington, KY; and numerous other relatives. The family would like to thank the Carilion Hospice nurses for all their loving kindness. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 26, 2011 at 2 pm at the First Baptist Church on Rock Road with Rev. C. L. Coles Casey officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the time of the service. The Claytor family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
