Eunice Snider Rudisill, 89, of Radford, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012. She was born April 4, 1923, daughter of the late Luther G. and Mamie (Lee) Snider. She married her late husband, Julian W. Rudisill, on January 22, 1942. They live in Fairlawn until Julian's work took them to different locations - Hinton, WVa, Bassett, VA, Carthage, IL, and Cleveland, OH where she worked at Columbia Station High School cafeteria from 1961 - 76, and then returning to Fairlawn following Julian's retirement where she was a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a stepson, Julian R. Rudisill, a brother, L. G. Snider, brothers-in-law, Paul and Frank Rudisill, and sister-in-law, Anna Mae Hart. Survivors include her children, Wayne and his wife Allys of Winneconne, WI, and Steven and his wife Carol of North Ridgeville, OH; step-daughter-in-law, Ann of Grafton, OH; grandchildren, David (Tracy) Rudisill, Shelley (Mike) Mareno, Sherry (Aaron) Klemp, Richard (Cathey) Rudisill, and Norman (Karen) Rudisill; many great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Estus; sisters-in-law, Lois Rudisill, Nettie Rudisill and Lois Snider; brother-in-law, Ray ( Patti) Rudisill ; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her many caregivers and the staff at English Meadows. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Radford-Fairlawn Daily Bread, 501 E. Main Street, Radford, VA 24141 or the Good Samaritan Hospice, 1160 Moose Drive, Christiansburg, VA 24073. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Fairlawn Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Harless Cemetery in McCoy. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of the service. The Rudisill family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
