Eula Gladys Harris Phillips, 96, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at her daughter's home in Radford. She was a member of the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Howry and Maude Duncan Harris, her husband, Joyce Fitzhugh Phillips, and a son, Lynn Richard Phillips. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Evans and Sarah Phillips of Radford, Ronald and Vickie Phillips of Radford, Phyllis Duncan of Blacksburg, and Faye and Dan Conner of Radford; grandchildren and their spouses, Mareike and Issac Ritter, Timothy Phillips, Dana and Michael McDonald, Christopher and Mary Phillips, Traci and Robbie Patton, Brian and Crystal Phillips, Amy Conner and Aimen El Sayed, and Ann Conner; great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Mallory and Matthew Ritter, Brittany Phillips, Brian and Katelyn McDonald, Daniel and Anthony Phillips, Ainsley, Cassandra and Sydney Patton, Nicholas and Alexander Phillips, and Moustafa and Nora El Sayed; sisters and brother-in-law, Bernice Albert of Lynchburg and Dotte and Charles Foster of Christiansburg; brother and sister-in-law Paul and Phyllis Harris of Christiansburg; special brother-in-law and his wife, Olen and Wilma Phillips of Rocky Mount; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Tommy Pegram officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. The Phillips family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
