Lou Emma Harvey Jones, 91, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at her home in Dublin. She was born in Elgood, WVa the daughter of the late Homer Franklin and Hattie Annabelle Akers Harvey. She was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church for a number of years and attended Grace Baptist Church the last 5 years. She retired from Montgomery Ward. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charlie Mack Jones, and brothers, Cecil and Donzie Harvey. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Nellie Jones of Belspring, and Gary and Jeanne Jones and Michael Jones, all of Dublin; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Benny Hudson of Dublin; sisters, Annabelle Meadows of Dublin, Beulah Jones of Lexington, SC, and Betty Heineman of Belspring; 9 grandchildren, Cindy Jones of Radford, Amy Lambert of Dublin, Kelly Schelling and husband Troy of Washington Grove, MD, Kim Guinness and husband Chris of Richmond, Lori Dalton and husband Troy of Dublin, Michelle Jones of Roanoke, Ben Phillips and wife Tiffany of Oohtewah, TN, Preston Sims of Radford and Stacy Simms of Richmond; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Doug Testerman officiating. Interment will follow in the Rockford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm Saturday at the funeral home. The Jones family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory.
