Emma Mae Gordon Cales, 85 of Radford, passed on Saturday, December 8, 2007. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Dewey Gordon and Dessie Lester Duncan, Husband James Garnett Cales Jr. and a brother, Kenneth William Gordon, nephew, Kenny William Gordon. Survivors include three nieces, Connie Quesenberry of Indian Valley; Loretta Phillips of Cambria; Ruby Gordon of Indian Valley; sister-in-law, Opal Mae Gordon of Indian Valley; three great nieces, Alisa Knapp, Jody Mills and Jennifer Smith; two great nephews, Jason Phillips and Mark Gordon. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Mike Hewitt and Pastor Vincent Macisaac officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home. The Cales family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
