Emily King Holly, 35, of Roanoke, formerly of Radford, moved on from this world to live out her dreams in the next on Friday, April 3, 2015. She was known for her quick wit, grace and compassion. She worked for peace and justice in the community which she proudly achieved as a social worker at the Drop-In Center in Roanoke, VA. She was a recent graduate of the Mary Baldwin College School of Social Work. Emily is survived by her husband, Grant E. Holly of Roanoke; her proud parents, Joe and Linda King of Radford; sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn (King) and Joseph Cristaldi of Baltimore, MD; brother, Christopher S. King of Lititz, PA.; maternal grandparents, Robert and Helen Phipps of Martinsville; father-in-law, Lloyd Holly of Bel Air, MD; sister-in-law and her husband, Kirstin Holly and Robert Reed, II of Dallas, TX and their children, Trey, Audrey and Paige; a loving extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the country, special friends Cole, Martin and Sarah; and many other relatives and friends. All God's children are welcome at the Funeral Mass in celebration of Emily's life , which will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2015 at St. Jude Catholic Church. The Rev. Jaroslaw "Jarek" Nowacki will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
