Elton Grant OBerry, Sr., 63 of Christiansburg, passed away Monday, March 10, 2008 at the New River Valley Medical Center. He was a retired employee of the Lynchburg Foundry. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Kelly and Nancy Ellen Crewes OBerry. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah Ellen and John Ramsey of Pulaski; two sons, Elton Grant OBerry II of Check and Mark Kelly OBerry of Christiansburg; brother, Lawrence OBerry of Alabama; three sisters Joan Bland and Carol Lantis, both of Bartow, FL and Janice OBerry of Colorado; and 11 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Thursday March 13, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Buck Yopp officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. The OBerry family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
