Obituary

On December 30, 2019, Elsie Mae Tibbs went to be with the Lord. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, John and Mary Montgomery; loving husband, John Luther Tibbs; and grandson, Daniel Covey. She lived a blessed life and is survived by her children, Dorothy (Bill) Bramlett of Edgewater, Fla., Debbie (Danny) Covey of Snowville, Brenda (Dean) Wagner of Radford, Dale (Jericia) Tibbs of Cape Charles, Donna (Timmy) Miller of Dublin, and John (Lori) Tibbs of Christiansburg; 13 grandkids; 14 great grandkids; 2 great great grandkids; sister, Hazel Lawson of Dublin; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Tibbs officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery in Radford.
