Elizabeth Alderman Kibbe, 82, of Roanoke, formerly of Radford, passed away on Sunday January 31, 2010. She was born June 11, 1927 in Pulaski the daughter of the late James Albert and Margarett Swain Alderman. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Dr. Milton H. Kibbe. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to cook and was the ultimate homemaker. She leaves behind her children, daughter, Vicki Kibbe, sons Barry Weakley and Mark Weakley, grandchildren Erica Havens, Justin Havens, Lisa Frazier, Shaun Weakley, Kelly Weakley and Brian Weakley, six great-grandchildren and all her friends. After graduating from Pulaski High School she then attended Radford College. Elizabeth was a retired school teacher. She loved to garden and was extremely active in the Radford Council of Garden Clubs. She participated in the Order of the Eastern Star and volunteered in several active community services. The family would like to thank Medi Home Health & Hospice, 5369 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, Va 24019 for their support and services. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home, 120 West Main Street, Radford, VA. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 11am at Highland Memorial Gardens, Dublin, Va with the Rev. Gina Rhea officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memorial Gardens in Dublin. The Kibbe family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
