Eliot Max Dunne, 24, of Virginia Beach, formerly of Radford, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy where he received a Purple Heart and was enlisted in the Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist. Survivors include his parents Frank and Selina Holmes Dunne, sister, Erica Dunne and brother, Ethan Dunne, all of Va. Beach; grandparents, Ralph and Patsy Holmes of Radford; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside services were held Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Sunrise Burial Park in Radford with Rev. Jim Angle and Rev. Gary Russell officiating. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 6:00 pm at Kings Grant Baptist Church, 873 Little Neck Road, Va. Beach. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The Dunne family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
