Eddie Dewayne Vires, 48, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father Eddie Wayne Vires and his brother Michael Wayne Vires. Survivors include his mother Edith Altizer Vires of Radford; son Travis Vires, daughters Carrie and Audrey Vires; sisters Melinda and Eddie Azbell of Floyd and Kathy and Delane Carico of Fancy Gap; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend Amber Powers. A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Don Shelor officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
