He was preceded in death by his parents, Early Bryant and Ardella Boyd Duncan; his loving wife, Barbara Knepper Duncan; brother, Bobby Lee Duncan; and his sister, Sara Mae Troxel. Survivors include his sister, Brenda Lee Correll; brother-in-law, Douglas Martin; nephews, Perry Martin (Christina), David Martin (Kala), Jeremiah Correll, Matthew Correll, Bryton Sayers and Peyton Sowers; nieces, Rachael Campbell and Cynthia Troxel; special friends, Leisa Palmer and her son, Seth Palmer; and many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends. After high school, Early joined the Navy and this is where he learned his trade as an electrical engineer. When he came out of the military, he worked for Alvis Electrical and then he went on to work for H & V of Floyd, where he stayed until he retired in 2022. All who knew Early knew his passion for Bass fishing. Early fished as far south as Mexico and as Far North as the Lake Erie and 100s of lakes and rivers in between. He also was part of the Floyd Fishing club where he won several tournaments, many trophies but most of all he made many great friends and fishing buddies. Bobby Huffman and Tom Dindinger were part of his fishing family but more importantly they were like his brothers. When Early wasnt fishing, he was working on his 67 Convertible Mustang or his Road Runner. He loved firing them up and taking a Sunday drive. He always had them shined up and ready to go, and if you were lucky, he might would let you drive one. Early, will be missed by his family, friends, and all his fishing buddies. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church in Fairlawn. Memorial services will begin at 3 p.m. with Rev.
