Obituary

Douglas Howard Smith, 58, of Dublin, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 10, 2010. He was an employee of Volvo Trucking and a member and deacon at Belspring Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Rhonda Quesenberry Smith of Dublin; a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher Gene and Wendy Smith of Pulaski; a daughter and son-in-law, Adeena and Brian Spencer of Snowville; his mother, Ophelia Belk Smith of Dublin; four grandchildren, Kaitlin and Laikin Smith and Brian and Brandon Spencer; and a brother and sister-in-law, Durward Alvin and Jane Smith of Lawrenceville, GA. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Darryl Linkous officiating. Interment will follow in the Dishon Cemetery at Page Place in Pulaski County. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Belspring Baptist Church or the Pulaski County HS Girls Varsity Softball team.
