Douglas MacArthur Ray, 78, of Custer City, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at his home in Radford. He served his country in the U. S. Army Reserves for 6 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Minnie Ray; grandson, Raymond Lilly; his siblings, Ed Shelton, Pauline Walton, Jean Clift, Jane Smith and Jim Ray; and niece, Nancy Moore. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Linda Joyce Ray; son and daughter-in-law, Todd Ray and Sarah; daughter and son-in-law, Loretta Foust and Darin; grandchildren, Randi, Zoe, Micah, Destiny and Charity (little miss); 4 great grandchildren; special nieces and nephews, Myra Burrows, Linda Pruit (William), Earl Walton, Leslie Walton, Karen (Randy) Cravens, Danny Huddleston, Rick (Karen) Mitchell, Buster (Kim) Walker, Dale (Roxy) Ray, Angela (Kirk) McKay, Taffy (Chad) Rigsby, and Tim (Bonnie) Davis; and many other relatives and friends.
