Dorothy Flinchum Burton, 79, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at her home in Snowville. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Harless Burton, a son George Harvey Burton, (Big Charlie), grandchildren Eddie Ray Bishop, Angie Huff and Charles Jackson Bishop, and a brother Gilbert Flinchum. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law Charles H., Jr. and Alice Burton, Bill Burton and Dale and Yvonne Burton; three daughters and son-in-law Edith Bishop , Martha and Roger Hollins and Patricia Burton; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Burton; chosen family Keith and Kellie Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 12:00 noon at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Frankie Graham and Rev. Mike Ingo officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Saturday.
