Donnie Ray (Goober) Linkous, 60, of Dublin, went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2011. He worked for Kollmorgen Corporation for 34 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Linkous, brother, Ralph Linkous, and step-son, James Jason Hamilton. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Betty Quesenberry of Christiansburg, and Miss Bonnie Linkous of Fairlawn; and two stepsons and their families, Bruce Hamilton and Brian Hamilton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 2 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Bobby Lorton officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm Friday evening at the funeral home. The Linkous family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
