Dolphas Doc Levon Conner, 69 of Radford, passed away Monday, June 4, 2007 in the New River Valley Medical Center. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, a member of Central United Methodist Church and was a retired appraiser and insurance agent in the real estate business. He was born in Floyd County, the son of the late Herman Farmer and Rita June Moles Conner. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Kay C. Conner of Radford; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin Conner and Keith and Kimberly Conner, all of Radford, and Kris and Catherine Conner of Richmond; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Abby, Grace and Annabell; and a brother and sister-in-law, Darvin and Sharon Conner of Princeton, WV. A celebration service of Docs life will be held Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church in Radford with Pastor Ric Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Radford High School Booster Club, 50 Dalton Drive, Radford, VA 24141, and to please specify either the football program or the basketball program. The Conner family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
