Denver Lloyd Bowman, 81, of Fairlawn, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. He was a retired Lieutenant with the Christiansburg Police Dept. and was a member of Christiansburg Church of the Brethren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Joyce Yearout Bowman; his parents, Denver Ross and Gladys Young Bowman; and brother, Robert Wayne Bowman. Survivors include his daughter, H. Christine Bowman; grandchildren, Erika (Casey) Price, Amanda (Travis) Cassell, and Angela Bowman; 7 great grandchildren; and special friends, John and Carol Boyd. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Jerry Hylton officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home.
