David Raymond Sheckler finished his time on this earth and moved on to his heavenly reward on November 18, 2025. Born on March 3, 1955, David lived his entire life with Down Syndrome, sharing unconditional love with everyone he met, singing hymns, and faithfully loving his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His joy was contagious—he had a rare gift for brightening the lives of those around him, whether through a shared smile, a heartfelt song, or a simple act of kindness. David's presence brought happiness to all who knew him, and his gentle spirit remains an enduring blessing. He was a devoted son and a cherished brother.

David was the son of the late Lewis and Marion Sheckler, who preceded him in death. His memory lives on in the hearts of his brothers: Stephen and Beverly Sheckler of Swedesboro, NJ, and John and Annette Sheckler of Chesterfield, VA.

His brothers will hold a private ceremony in his honor.
