David Woodrow (Buster) Saul, Sr., 80, of Radford, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013. He was a 30 year veteran of the U. S. Navy having served during the Korean Conflict and The Viet Nam War. He was preceded in death by his parents William Patton and Ellen Myers Saul, his wife Bonnie Taylor Saul, and granddaughter Jessica Shantel Phillips. Survivors include his son David W. Saul, Jr. of Pulaski; his daughters Belinda Phillips and her husband Barry, and Sandra White, all of Willis; grandchildren Joshua Matthew and Joseph Emmanuel Phillips, Jeremiah White, and Brittany Leigh, Krista Nicole and Corey David Saul; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister Dorothy Jennings of Roanoke. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin with full military honors. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday evening at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. The Saul family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
