David Eugene Joyce, 77, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at his home in Radford. He was born in Clay, Kentucky, the son of the late Rufus and Mary Joyce. He was a member of VA May Lodge #38 A.F. & A.M., was a self-employed sawmill operator and was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and mentor to many. Survivors include his wife, Connie Medlock Joyce; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Holly Joyce of Indianapolis, Ind.; daughters and sons-in-law, Julie Joyce-Leonard and Dallas Leonard of Radford, and Kathie Joyce-Smith and William Moran, Jr. of Roanoke; grandchildren, Daniel, Logan, Austin, Jordan and Susanna; great grandchildren, Sabryna, Bryttany, Brayden and Damon; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
