David Todd Dishon, 42, departed this life Saturday, April 7, 2007 at his home in Radford after an extended illness. He was born February 10, 1965 in Radford, attended Radford High School and New River Community College. He was employed by Kroger for more than ten years until his debilitating bout with a brain tumor and the complications that followed. Family who will cherish his memory are his parents, Garnie F. and Faye B. Dishon, brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian and Randa Dishon, Rick and Teresa Dishon, nephew Andrew Dishon and fianc Amanda Shumaker, niece Elizabeth Dishon and grandniece Ember. The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to Tim Kish for his devoted care of Todd. Funeral services celebrating Todds life will be held Monday, April 9, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Central United Methodist Church with Pastor Ric Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the church on Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Central United Methodist Church, 803 Wadsworth St., Radford, VA 24141.
